We use 500mm x 500mm carpet tiles as they are inter-changeable if they become damaged – fitting using carpet tackifier glue keeps the tiles firmly in place but also allows them to be removed/replaced if needed. The carpet tiles are available in a variety of colours and are extremely hard wearing.

The tiles are used on the podium floor, access stairs and can also be used on side walls. We use a 4-inch velcro hook fastening tape rather than metal cover strips to cover any edges to ensure there is no screws or fastenings that could damage bare feet.
